Adderall at first took me by shock. I was empowered I felt as if I had the ability to do anything. Excercise was easier, talking was easier, even thinking was easier. This drug is very mentally addictive (in my case, perhaps others have had similar effects) I ran over 20 miles in a day and finished many arbitrary tasks that I felt glad to do. It allows concentration and interest in even the most elementary of jobs. Dishes for example often dreaded were actually a pleasure to do. I can see now why this drug has a high potential for abuse. Adding to the addictiveness of the drug is the down afterwards which left me feeling drained especially with prolonged use or high dosages. I feel like I need a little more to get me back up but that just sets up a harder crash later. There is only one way to recuperate and that is sleep and rest. For me it will be awhile before I give it another chance
