I've seen a few g-naps in my time, but it wasn't until recently that I saw something completely outside of my experience.

I had heard of a few GHB trips that resulted not in naps, but in complete freak-outs, although I had never seen any myself. Basically the individuals who had consumed too much g were reported to have run around like maniacs for about an hour.

The trip I witnessed was no exception. The only way I can accurately describe what I saw, is to relate it to something I have seen in a documentary on voodoo where the individual possessed by a spirit behaved in a similar fashion. It is really something you have to see to believe.

Basically the person I witnessed behaved as if he were in a trancelike, or possessed state. He ran around flapping his arms madly, rolling on the ground, and gibbering like an idiot. It seemed as if the line between the conscious, and unconscious mind had disappeared. I believe he was in a nap, but his body didn’t know it.

What I find really bizarre is that a hormone can do this. I have been just soaked on any number of hallucinogens, but never have experienced anything like this before. Upon emerging from this state, he was a wee bit embarrassed (as he should have been for requiring so much attention), but otherwise pretty happy. He said he felt as if he had “embraced life fully”.
