My first experience with Speed was at a Psi-trance gig in London. A friend of mine had come in from Switzerland, and had brought his stash with him, and we planned on going to the set, and loadin up about 1am. At around 1am, my friend handed me my hit, and told me to take it whenever I was down with it. I hung on to it for about 15 minutes, and then thought 'fuck it, no time like now' and headed off to the toilet to get loaded.
At first, I didnt feel anything, which was what I'd expected, my previous experience with drugs had been chronic weed smoking, pure hashish resin, E and Ketamine, so I was unprepared for the Rush. About 10 minutes later it hit me. It was like a Cold shower on a hot, sweaty day, I felt an extreme rush of energy thru my body, like I had an electric current running thru me. I felt fresh, alert, and really really pumped, I wanted to hurt sumbody....bad...and I was lovin it. I hit the dance floor like a dog hits a bitch in heat, and I couldnt stop smiling, my face was frozen in this smile, and I felt as loaded and deadly as an M-16 with the safety off.
I made the mistake of smoking about 7 or 8 joints after my first few hits, and that sorta dulled the rush, but, I suppose I needed that. We stayed in the club till it closed around 6, and then I felt hungry like anythin, it was freezing outside, but I made my friend walk with me to McDonalds to get sum breakfast...it was closed, but I kept insistin we wait for it to open, evne tho it was 4 C outside n shit windy and I only had a tshirt on, I didnt give a fuck. When we got home, I had a few more Jays, which brought me back down again, but I still lay in bed for 3 hours before I could get to sleep. The next weekend, I took a hit of E instead, but after the Speed it just seemed really...tame, and lame...
