This was the one experience i've had that since then, I've learned my own mortality. I used to be really reckless and have no regard for my own personal safety, and one night it finally dawned on me why that is a very bad idea. I was 18 at the time, and i was very familiar w/rolling, smoking, and drinking, but it was the first time i'd done amphetamines. I took one pill of e and a few hours later, snorted another half pill. I felt great, as one would expect. Then the ritalin came out; it was a friend's perscription. In my already fucked up state, i grossly misjudged the amount of ritalin it would take me to experience something pleasureable. I sniffed four 20mg pills and ate two. We went into the private bathroom in my friend's dorm to smoke, and while we were passing the bowl i realized that my legs were going numb. i squatted down, but this made the numb feeling worse. Getting scared, i decided to stand up. Everything started going black and i hit the floor. All i remember hearing was my friend saying something along the lines of, 'oh shit, ____'s dying.' i couldn't speak, even though i wanted to, and i couldn't move. My friend told me later that I had been drinking that night on top of everything, but i don't remember this. He also said that i was twitching while i was unconscious. WHen i woke up, i was on a bed, and everyone was really concerned. By this time though, i was feeling really wonderful. That night, after i regained consciousness, was one of the best feelings i'd ever had... however, i would never recommend taking as much ritalin as i had, especially if you've never had it before. I also know that it was a really bad idea to mix so many things. Now, i don't mix e with anything except for pot, and i never drink while being under the influence of e or amphetamines. I'm not sure if this was an od experience or not, but i'm glad that i lived through it.... Even though i felt great afterwards, I would never do that much shit in one night again.
