Recently traversed down to interesting club in inner- Melbourne. Me and some friends, including my girlfriend, had invested in several pills thought, naively I guess, to be ecstasy. Alls good, pumped for a good night, drop two pills at about 11.30 pm and . . . nothinG. By 1 o'clock I found I was feeling none of the euphoria associated with MDMA, but was experiecning a strange hallucinatory quality to my surroundings vaguely reminescent of acid, and could not stop talking. Both my friends got major energy bursts, similar to amphetamine use, real soon after dropping which quickly tapered off into a sort of despondency. I found myself slouched on a couch, compulsively smoking cigs and talking like a maniac, when my girlfriend rushes to me in tears, complaining that everyone was bitching about her, that she wasn't high enough, that she wanted to go home. I felt concerned when she described a 'bad feeling' she had all over her body. Anxeiety, nervousness- I began to doubt we had dropped anything with even a hint of MDMA. Research on the internet (pillreports.com) the next morning revealed that these pills (flatlines/ splits) contained PMA or speed. The last substance would fit in with the feeling I received, lotsa energy and desire for conversation. I also heard that 'splits' contained some LSD, which may explain why things looked kinda trippy. If anyone knows anything about these pills or PMA and the effects it has, I'd appreciate finding out.

ps. My girlfriend turned out fine- maybe she was just in a depressed mood? Oh, and the pills were very crumbly with a strong aniseed taste.
