Amanitas - A. muscaria

My friend and I were out at the local Botanical Gardens. Completely by accident we stumbled on a huge silver birch tree with a large fly agaric under it in a well maintained rock garden.
I had never tried it before, and all the experiences reports I had heard were from shamen I had spoken to or read about and included munching loads of caps and vomiting all your badness out and gaining strength.
I dried the cap out on a piece of paper on the windowsill (that's how I do my liberty caps). The next morning I took a quarter of the cap and decided to experience the day on it (as opposed to transcendence).
I usually suffer from a desire to hibernate in the Autumn/Winter months, but this day I was full of energy. I kicked about feeling nice all day and in retrospect my conversations with friends and acquaintances was of a spiritual nature, mild banter about the weather became discussions of patterns of beauty - even with people who I don't discuss this aspect of my recreation. People who I had dismissed as uninterested in psychedelia were opening up their dreams and ambitions to me in general conversation.
The feeling was of the Magic of Christmas - By that I mean a feeling of general cosiness between the minds of the people I encountered or was in the vicinity of despite the cold weather, physical and psychic.
Same dose the next day revealed same results. However, weeks after that I had dreams. Very vivid dreams involving a garden and fly agarics everywhere. And a profound feeling on waking that somehow fly agarics are gonna be around for a long while and not to worry about not finding them because there's plenty but they hide. Like the spirit of the fly agaric was calling to me all through the 'straight' times in a way never experienced with any other drug.
These experiences were shared in similar ways with my friend. She said she had the same dreams, and the same feeling afterwards that the dream was a specific message from the spirit of the toadstool.
