I don’t usually write reviews, but since this compound has very few experience reports available, this might be useful as a guide for others.

First, my background: 35 years old, male, 90 kg, I exercise regularly. Keep that in mind, because this compound feels a bit heavy on the cardiovascular side.

As for previous experiences, I have quite a bit with different compounds: basically a lot of psychedelics, both RCs and classics like DMT, LSD, 4-HO-X, etc. I have also tried 2C-B-FLY, although I was not expecting this to be similar.

I got the 2C-EF before the European ban on phenethylamines from a very well known “legal highs” website (front). It comes as blue pressed pills, 10 mg each, with a line in the middle to split them, in plastic and cardboard packaging like something that came straight from a pharmacy.

Today was my day off, so I could start early and still be able to sleep at night. At first I was going to take 25 mg, but in the end I took “only” 20 mg. From what I have read in a few posts and previous reports, this is a high dose. The dose range is not very clear because it is a poorly documented substance. Some people say 6–12 mg should be a moderate dose. I am going to assume the pills might contain a bit less than 10 mg each, but there is no way to know for sure. What follows is more or less a transcription of the notes I took.

T 00:00 (13:11): “I take both pills with water.” I am not on any medication. I start cooking.

T +00:36: “Noticeable nausea.” This is not something I usually get, not even with mushrooms. I had only eaten yogurt for breakfast.

T +01:00: “Nausea continues, very noticeable. At times I fight the urge to throw up. Disturbances in peripheral vision. Warmth. Heart rate is a bit elevated but nothing crazy.” In general my pulse during the day stayed around 80–100 bpm, which is not extreme, but it is high for me (I am usually around 60).

T +01:17: “Quite active and nervous. Jaw clenching.” During this time I was finishing cooking a complicated dish, and when I finished I still did not eat.

T +02:50: “Still no hunger. Food still gives me a bit of nausea. Horny peak. I had to masturbate two times. The orgasm was incredible and long lasting. Heart rate is the same. Nothing visual, colors and drifting are very mild. Cognition is perfectly fine.”
The notes say it all. On a tactile level it was amazing, so it might be a good substance for sex. Visually it was very disappointing. Drifting was noticeable on my “special wall” (full of shapes and geometry) when I stared at it, but internal imagery was almost nonexistent.

T +04:10: “I start a movie. River (time loop). I have eaten, tolerated well. Visually very poor.”
I basically spent this time in bed in an ambiguous state. I felt sleepy but active at the same time, and of course actually sleeping would have been impossible. To do something with my life, I decided to sit on the couch and put a movie on. The movie was a completely random choice, one of the first I saw on the platform of choice.

T +05:13: “Started writing. Had a beer. Pupils still dilated. Jaw tension.”
Nothing more to add here. I almost never drink alcohol, but when I went to the fridge for a soda it seemed like a better idea to have a beer than another stimulant. I am writing some things without any problem while watching the movie. It is easy to follow and I feel fully mentally capable.

T +07:00: “The presence is still clearly noticeable. The color enhancement is insane.”
After all this time, the color enhancement remained constant and very noticeable, and actually very pleasant. It is the only visual effect that really stood out (if any).

T +08:40: “Colors. Everything else very meh.”

Final notes:
I am a bit disappointed with this compound. I thought that with 20 mg I would get strong visuals. Instead what I mainly got was very strong and long-lasting nausea. I did notice it on a vascular level, but it did not feel alarming to me. However, if you have any diagnosed cardiovascular problem, be careful, because my pulse definitely went up and surely my bp did too.

During the peak, the orgasm and tactile sensations were incredible. I really wish I had had a partner to try sex on this, because it seemed like one of the best things the substance could offer. Headspace was “meh”, very neutral. Very strange feeling of being tired and active at the same time.

The color and contrast enhancement was the one thing that felt completely off the charts and stayed with me until the end. I had never really noticed some of the purple and pink icons on my computer and phone before. Overall, for me, very “whatever, meh”. Also not much party potential.
