Broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years last night. Found out my childhood cat of 15 years has an aggressive form of cancer this morning. Anxious, crying and stressed all day.

Called my nurse practitioner this afternoon to talk about anxiety about flying and upcoming travel (this is true) and got an appt. Explained my anxious and upset state of mind.

4 hours later I pick up my prescription - 30 .5 mg tablets. I take one .5 mg of lorazepam around 7:00 p.m.

It's currently 7:35 p.m. I'm laying on the couch dazed not nearly as anxious as I was throughout the day. I'll deal with logistics of the breakup later. Eyes heavy to the point where looking up left or right feels like a chore. I'm hungry but I don't feel like getting up or even turning on the TV. I can't easily remember the list of things I was upset about earlier but I'm still sad and just started crying and can't stop crying when I remembered what I was upset about so it's not working in the way I'd hoped. 8pm I just feel a little ..... Sluggish.

9pm and I ended up turning the TV on for a distraction and made some food and feel normal. Still very upset. Still a little tired. Looking forward to sleeping well...
