I was chillin with a friend in my backyard and he suggested that Palms had dream herb properties and eventually, that suggestion got the better of me and I decided to try it (my friend had gone home).

I took a shuck off the plant and chewed out the inside a full mouth full of substance (plant matter).

I was not sleepy at all when I did this and found that within about an hour, I was SUPER sleepy and obeyed that feeling ...crawling into bed for the night. As I slept I had the most VIVID and Complex dreams - wonderful, fun and investigative although not much in meaning, they were engaging and did not loop or get stuck like dreams that I have had with other dream herbs (sometimes I have had annoying dreams where I never get to where I'm going or I can't get out of a place or don't get past a sequence. This was not like that and it was enjoyable).

I woke up feeling fresh and well; not the customary feeling for a 57 yo Hag such as myself. so in conclusion, I have to say, right on. This plant is a gentle sleep herb for sure and quite nice indeed.
