MDMA Supreme

I believe the substance that I encountered under the form of a blue hearts press with a split mark along the middle and with love written on the other side was exactly 4-methylaminorex because it definitely did not produce the traditional cathinone-associated edginess, chewing, jaw tension, occasional feelings of paranoia and extreme unease. The crystals that were shining through the pill had straight lines and were translucent so the typical MDMA-like effects I experienced were very surprising to say the least.

I've never experienced a crash on MDMA, rather an afterglow for the following 2-3 days where my spirits were still high and I would feel as though I was still rolling, and the same thing happened here except some things were off. I recently stumbled upon a Europol bulletin on 4,4’-dimethylaminorex tablets that circulated around Europe in 2013 and caused several deaths, two of which were pink and green hearts but without “LOVE” written on them, leading me to believe that what I had was almost the same only a bit different, as the year of my experience was quite a bit later. Once again I am not entirely sure whether this was indeed 4-methylaminorex, however other reports and all descriptions match my experience with great precision. What happened was the following:

I look at the pill and as I am well aware that real MDMA is generally non-existent around here I inspect very carefully and indeed the translucent and straight crystals look exactly like crystal meth and I believe that's what it is. This is very odd because there isn't any of that stuff around here either, and nobody would bother pressing it into a pill since it would be easier and more profitable to sling it as it is. I've had numerous unpleasant cathinone experiences and one extremely heavy one so with great caution I ingest only half of the pill.

A sort of nervous tension is arising, but nothing like MDMA or a cathinone, it's rather very mellow and soothing.

Nothing is happening and I start to think that this is just some bunk material, it's taking an unusually long time to kick in for it to be MDMA or meth.

The objects around me are shimmering and glistening like from mushrooms and the atmosphere has developed a pinkish hue, there is no overwhelming intensity or rushing feeling going on, there is certainly an MDMA headspace and a feeling of warmth and love, however it is very smooth and controllable . Very nootropic-like effects.

At this point I'm walking around town alone in the dark and this substance has left me absolutely bewildered. There is a very clean and pristine magical feeling going on, very psychedelic and very much happening in the MDMA headspace, however my jaw is not trembling, I am not chewing myself, my muscles aren't constricting. It's extremely light, happening almost entirely in a cognitive aspect, supported by a warm and beer-like buzz radiating across my entire body. While walking my limbs do not feel weightless. I feel as though I am a small child and Christmas is coming and I'm sitting home getting gently toasted by the warmth of the fireplace while it's snowing outside. There are butterflies in my stomach and I am in love. I cannot stress enough how psychedelic and magical this feels.

This light and warm feeling gradually subsides, there aren't necessarily any peaks as with MDMA, and the experience is very complete and wholesome without edginess, unease, paranoia or any unpleasant side effects in general.

I am only slightly buzzed and I eat the other half of the pill. There are no feelings of unease or a crash like there are from cathinones and meth. The experience is also extremely smooth, warm and gradual unlike the more drastically pronounced peaks and troughs of MDMA.

Things start to pick back up.

The bodily warmth comes back to some degree, but not as much as one would extrapolate. Evidently buffering mechanisms have taken place and along with the depletion of monoamines that happened earlier on, this additional dose will not lead up to anything extraordinary or fascinating.

T+ Next Day
I fell asleep very easily which is usually the case for me as I tend to walk around a fair bit during the day and get really tired as a result. I slept tight and I awoke to a pleasant MDMA afterglow which continued as a tinge over my mood throughout the day and to a lesser extent the next 2 days.

This was absolutely fascinating! A very MDMA-like experience which was a lot more clear-headed and less heavy on the body. I suspect this was the 1:1 racemate of the two cis-4-methylaminorex enantiomers pressed at 150mg [Editor Note: 150mg would be 10x higher than a typical 4-methylaminorex dose, see 4-methylaminorex dose chart.] It was rather underwhelming and I was left in constant anticipation of having something to start happening. The quality of the experience however is on par with MDMA and classic hallucinogens and completely unlike meth or cathinones (which are all terrible and should be avoided at all cost).

I had the pleasure of encountering this particular press on one additional occasion, it was a rave of sorts unfortunately, the ones with terrible music. I immediately ate the whole pill as I was familiar with what it is capable of. I experienced pretty much more of the same except it was amplified 3-4 fold, extremely cognitively focused effects with no jaw tension or chewing. At a certain point I proceeded to lay down to avoid stressing my heart and other organs and that intensified the effects. I was in the MDMA headspace and I was able to focus, act and think, while only occasionally being overwhelmed by vibration and positive emotions. Everything was extremely magical, mystical even, and my point of focus was being smeared in the direction of the night sky I would point my gaze towards, while these sort of mental chimes would ring through the mental headspace.

Throughout this experience my concentration, or point of focus was extended into a headspace literally, imagine your thinking is cylindrically warped into hyperspace allowing for a full 360° view of said hyperspace, then again you have to be experienced and calm to be able to notice that, if you're dancing or hanging around it would be more difficult. There was a warmth in my chest radiating throughout the rest of my body, similar to MDMA but the energy of the vibration was different, more clean, focused and sort of blue/white, as though the frequency was higher but with smaller amplitudes compared to MDMA. The experience was 100% psychedelic and I absolutely adore this substance and do not understand how it is not more wide-spread.

It took me to depths I never thought to be possible and altered my perspective very drastically. I had moments of very important realizations about life and great introspection, which all would circle back and lead to me feeling extremely grateful for the experience I'm having as I would rejoice in the warmth. I did have one issue however and it is that half a pill was underwhelming and the whole pill was too powerful. The dose-response curve for this compound is too steep. For recreation I would much prefer taking only half the pill, or 3/4 or 3/5 or 5/7 and working just with that.

The two half doses gave me a good introduction into the capabilities of this compound and the full dose absolutely managed to satiate my longing for a unique and mystical experience. Could MDMA have performed better? It certainly could have provided the correct circumstances and good company, however given that that is never the case, the clarity of thought and low amounts of stoning and dissociation allowed me to explore this new state of mind in a way that MDMA never would permit as my train of thought would constantly get lost in the overwhelming euphoria. I was able to think about things in life and sort of apply the reasoning granted to me in this new headspace and achieve a new attitude towards life in general. So this was most certainly a life-changing experience. Even to this day, which is some 8 years later, I gather my recollection of the experiences and I get the feeling that these encounters are of extremely high value to me.
