DOSE:
15 mg oral Pharms - Buspirone (daily)
5 mg sublingual Pharms - Buspirone (pill / tablet)
BODY WEIGHT: 170 lb
I take buspirone orally for anxiety, usually 5 mg three times a day. One day I decided to take one 5 mg tablet sublingually to see if the effects would be stronger. About 10 minutes after dissolving the tablet under my tongue, I felt extreme vertigo and lightheadedness. It was so bad that I had to go lie down in bed for an hour while the worst effects subsided. Any recreational value that may have been there was drastically outweighed by the unpleasant dizziness.
