My military doctor prescribed Ambien for sleep and in the tent city of the desert. I couldn't sleep because I was too tense due to ongoing combat missions outside the wire.
That medication was supposed to make me sleep but it kept me awake for about 5 days in between what sleep I could get. Several airmen commented that another guy along with me had "opposite body reactions" to Ambien.
