I didn’t know it could potentially cause serotonin syndrome when I tried this. I tried microdosing the psilocybin while also taking Trintellix, and nothing much happened, I couldn’t tell I’d taken anything. (Maybe that is how microdosing is supposed to be?) I upped the psilocybin to 1 gram, still a tiny dose, but enough to produce some very mild effects. No issues with serotonin syndrome.
I’d like to try larger doses of psilocybin, but am still on Trintellix and am not sure if it’s safe to do so. I am also doing ketamine infusions and troches for mental health. Not sure if using all of this concurrently is wise and would love more information, though it is scarce and anything I’ve found seems very CYA. Johns Hopkins is conducting a survey about it right now, so I don’t think anyone really knows yet. I want to go ahead, but am fearful of serotonin syndrome.
