10 mg oral Pharms - Paroxetine

Went to the doctor for depression & anxiety. Was prescribed Paroxetine/Paxil 10mg.

I took it by itself before bed and let me tell you...I had the worst leg tremors, twitches and shakes all night. It was horrible and something I’d never experienced before. So I pretty much got zero sleep. It was that bad. And then next side effect: I felt like I was under water for the next 3 days. Everything was slow & foggy. Weirdly I don’t think anyone else noticed including my husband, kids, and work mates but I definitely didn’t feel ‘with it’, but instead felt I was 10 steps behind. Everything from talking to walking seemed to require a monumentally effort.

Thankfully it went away/wore off in about 3 days. I don’t know what that was about as I can’t find other experiences like mine BUT I’d like to reiterate I didn’t take anything else with it recreational or otherwise and it was my 1st time taking a antidepressant. I have since tried Xanax, marijuana edibles, and muscle relaxers w/o side effects.
