Citation: Migraine Moll. "Post Dosage Malaise: An Experience with Sumatriptan (exp112344)". Erowid.org. Aug 30, 2018. erowid.org/exp/112344
Setting: Comfortable home environment. Dim lighting. 78°F. Alone with two cats, one of whom stays in physical contact near constantly.
The preceeding week and day of dosage were very emotionally and physically stressfull (some positive stress some negative.)
Taken to arrest a migraine. Taken with 25mg clonazapam.
Within 30min general feeling of fatigue and 'dopiness.' Fell asleep on couch. Fitfull dreams, but deep physical sleep. Woke intermittantly, disoriented and mentally caught between waking and dream states. Relocated to bed and slept further. Closed eyes visual geometric hallucinations when awake. Fitfull dreams while sleeping. Inability or great difficulty in moving on waking.
Woke fully after 3 hours (seemed like 6 or more had past). Felt groggy and disoriented mentally. Physically felt woozy, and whole body lightness/numbness/tingling. Felt trapped in Limbo for hours. Hypersensitive to temperature, sound, light and touch.
Neither pleasant nor unpleasant. Similar to post-ecstasy malaise. Preferable to migraine, but not a 'high' per se.
