My First Time with Salvia D

I’m going to try and describe something that isn’t really describable; at least not with words.

This is my first experience with Salvia D. It was a 40x extract. Now, you may ask why I chose 40x for my first time. Well, I have always been tolerant of painkillers and the like, so I figured that I may need an extra jolt to get any results and I basically didn’t want to play around and be disappointed at all; well, I wasn’t.

8:00AM Monday, August 27, 2018

Since I read that the effects of Salvia only lasted around 10 to 20 minutes, I tried to choose a block of time in which I would be alone in the house, so nothing would freak me out or ruin my experience. I had an appointment at 11am, so I decided to start my experiment at 8am.

I was in the basement and had everything laid out as needed: newly purchased bong (my first one ever), salvia divinorum, grill lighter (has a long stem to make it easier to light the bowl).

The basement is carpeted and has a nice cushiony couch so I couldn’t bump my head if I passed out and hit the floor.

I filled the bowl about less than halfway (maybe 1/3) then ignited the lighter and lit the bowl. I inhaled gradually and then inhaled fully when I lifted the stem of the bong as the chamber was full. It was all in my lungs. I lend to the right hurried to place the bong on the floor out of the way as I remained sitting on the couch. I looked ahead of me at the other end of the basement and time froze. The area in my eyesight became like a still picture and then turned into a billion colored mosaic dots.

Then I saw (and felt) the mosaic shift upwards and collapse unto itself so that it was flattened to 1/8th its size and stacked unto itself over and over again. Each stack was like a portal to another space/time. When the stack was full, my head started to lean backward and felt like it was tilting 360 degrees multiple times. This phase of the experience was the scariest part of this whole thing because I couldn’t remember why this was happening to me, and I felt stuck and trapped.

The next phase I don’t recall fully, but I remember being with people that cared for me. I was in a neighborhood outside, and it was pleasant. Then I was being pulled back to my reality. I got a sense that the people in the realm I just visited didn’t want me to leave yet, but they understood that I must.

I returned all groggy and upset. I remember thinking that I didn’t want to experience that again. I missed the place I visited and knew I was happy there. But I didn’t recall what I saw there or what exactly I really missed. I did know that the trip across the space\time barrier was the most difficult part of the journey to me. It literally felt as if my head was detached and levitating off my neck while rolling backward repeatedly. It was like having hardcore vertigo.

I noticed my phone on the floor; I recall picking it up and throwing it in front of me upon my return to my realm. I picked it up; 8:25AM. It took a while longer to regain my composure. But, I was able to jump in the shower and make my 11am appointment.
____

All day that day and all day today, however, I was thinking about my experience and how to put it into words; this is the result.

Will I do Salvia again? Yes, but I will try a smaller dose next time or at least lay down completely with my eyes closed right after I hold in the hit. Hopefully, that will minimize the vertigo experience for me.

Regards,

AntMan
