DOSE:
40 oz oral Alcohol - Beer/Wine
    buccal Kratom (fresh)
  15 mg oral Amphetamines (daily)
  100 mg oral Desvenlafaxine (daily)
BODY WEIGHT: 175 lb
I want to preface this by saying that I take generic brand amphetamine salts (Adderall) and desvenlafaxine (Pristiq) every day for my ADHD and depression. While I cannot be sure my antidepressant, desvenlafaxine, affected this experience, I can say for certain the amphetamine salts did have a minor interaction with the kratom. It was not a necessarily negative drug reaction. I've been taking kratom on and off for about 3 years as a recreational user. I've only had fine powder up until this week, when a friend mailed me 250 grams of whole leaves. They weren't dried out, which blew my mind. It is the closest to the 'real deal' that I've ever had -- and let me say this is intense.

My first mistake was drinking and combining two downers. My experience started at approximately 8 pm, so all the time stamps will start from there.

+00:00 -- Arrive at my apartment with friend. We are in a band and enjoy jamming and hanging out regularly. We are drinking our 40 oz malt liquors when I tell him about the new kratom I got. He has much less experience with kratom, but he is relatively familiar and enjoys the high (usually). I bring out the leaves (pseudo-fresh) and we start chomping away. We did not weigh them, and I was unaware of how much more potent the fresh product would be.
I was unaware of how much more potent the fresh product would be.

+00:30 -- Not feeling anything. I ate recently, so it might have slowed digestion.

+00:45 -- We finish our malt liquor.

+01:00 -- Definitely coming on strong. This particular package was labeled as a red vein. It was definitely interacting with the amphetamine salts because I felt a much stronger jitteriness that I usually don't get with kratom. Euphoria was pretty intense right out of the gate.

+01:45 -- Eating has slowed since 45 minutes ago, and we stopped around this time because my friend was getting dizzy. I did not use my scale to weigh a proper dose beforehand, a drunk/tipsy mistake.

+04:00 -- over the past few hours the kratom high has not stopped climbing. I have been getting continuously higher.

+08:00 -- It's 4 am, we are still both insanely high. I have never been this sedated from kratom. The jitteriness from the amphetamine and kratom has also amplified and is a bit uncomfortable. We watched Beyonce's Lemonade movie around this time. My buddy is being very quiet, and says he needs water and antacids.

+09:00 -- Lemonade movie is over. We jam and talk for about another 30 minutes. He is definitely not feeling good, and complains of overheating, eyes not being able to focus, and a feeling similar to the spins with alcohol. I feel a little light headed, but this could also just be from staying up so late, which I usually don't do. Still jittery. I am having a little bit of trouble focusing my eyesight.

+09:30 -- I go to bed, he crashes on the couch. I am very restless and cant sit still, despite an extremely heavy sedation. I am very uncomfortable.

[Erowid Note: Driving while intoxicated, tripping, or extremely sleep deprived is dangerous and irresponsible because it endangers other people. Don't do it!]
+12:30 -- I leave to drive my friend home so he can go to work, he is complaining of wicked nausea and dizziness. I feel sober, but sedated. I drifted in and out of sleep until he got me up around this time. I am unsure if I actually slept or was in a weird waking dream state.

+13:30 -- I get home still high, pass out.

+16:30 -- I wake up, not high but have an awful hangover. Wouldn't try this again. Be careful with fresh leaves!
