A Beautiful Experience
June 11, 2017: 150mcg ALD 52, oral 15 mins then swallowed
Sunday morning I woke up and took 150mcg at 7:50am. I took the dog to a local hiking trail to spend most of the trip in the woods. It was a very hot day and the woods were dense with insects, however few people were enjoying the trail.
The come up was rather difficult, approximately 30 mins after consumption I began feeling very tired and somewhat nauseous, mentally I was fine with little to no anxiety. The onset lasted approximately 1h 15m to and hour and a half. Once the effects took hold however, the experience was incredible. I was in a very uplifted mood, laughing and just riding a very pleasant euphoric wave. The visuals at this point were very pleasant, morphing, movement and an increase in the vibrancy of colours was noticeable. I felt a very distinct separation from the physical self, almost a numbness of the body where I had full control of my actions but little to no feeling of the body.
Similar to the 100mcg dose, I had trouble telling where sounds were coming from. When other people would walk by it would be difficult to hear where they were coming from, if words were exchanged there was a noticeable echoing effect as well as a surround sound effect.
Upon getting home around noon the trip was still in effect, however over the next hours the headspace and mental aspect of the trip gradually wore off. At approximately 3pm while the visual had subsided but were still present, the mental aspect of the trip had nearly completely gone away. Later at night I had a mild noticeable headache, and was not able to fall asleep until late in the night (3am). After effects lasted until approximately 24 hours in, very slight visual distortion still noticeable.
