I love phenibut. I love the way it chills me out and kills anxiety without impairing me. But I hate how much food delays and reduces its absorption. So, after a large meal, I decided to plug it.

T-0:10 - I poop.

T-0:03 - I prepare 2 mL of water with 400 mg of Phenibut HCl. The large amount (for me, anyway) of water is due to me worrying about the acidity.

T+0:00 - I plug the solution. There is no burn.

T+0:02 - I feel like the solution is going to come out. I fight the urge. The feeling subsides, then comes back in about 15 seconds. Then it subsides, then comes back, over and over in 15-20 second intervals.

T+0:07 - The feeling gets stronger and stronger, and eventually I must use the bathroom. It is an unpleasant experience.

T+0:11 - I wash my hands.

T+0:25 - I feel some effects, but not much. Could be placebo.

T+0:40 - Some mild but noticeable effects. More than I would feel at this point if I had taken it orally.

T+1:15 - Same mild relaxation. Nothing special. I think I didn't absorb much. I'm going to take some more orally and try again another day.

Update:
Since writing this, I have attempted to plug Phenibut a half dozen or so times. Only once was I able to hold it in. I'm no stranger to plugging, but Phenibut is not for plugging. I imagine the acidity irritates the sphincter or something.

When I was able to hold it in, I felt a faster onset and slightly higher peak than I would with an equal dose orally, but in my experience it's just not worth it.
