We smoked a small amount of rubbery, tan-colored psilocybin extract in a four-inch long glass pipe, using a screen. The smoke had a tryptamine taste. As I breathed out, the people I was sitting with turned into tall, lovely, ghostly mushrooms wearing human costumes. The floor of the bedroom became a huge root in dark forest and my dirty clothes turned into fallen leaves that were several feet wide and four or five inches high. Everything seemed dirty and magical.

I was pulled to revisit several buried memories from my early life and let go of them as in a dream, passing through the scenes as soon as I acknowledged them. Eating later, at a cheap Mediterranean restaurant I visit frequently, I had the giggles. I was drawn to various other customers conversations in my mind, and would frequently feel voices from different tables taking prominence in my head. I loved how silly and stupid they sounded - everything there (walls, people, food and tables) shone from within with this soft white light.

The effects lasted well over nine or ten hours. I slept and found myself in a dream world that closely resembled my previous waking state. I revisited a strange world I dreamt in the past and danced around teasing people, laughing and talking about lizards.

I alone seemed to know everyone and everything I met during the duration of the trip (waking and sleeping!) was 'ok', that it was actually all good, it was fine to cry and laugh, laugh, LAUGH at and with them! It didn't bother me that I alone seemed to be aware of this, as I knew I was not disturbing anyone else's space by feeling such things. :)

You may not have the same experience I did. But if you are looking for a mushroom high, I highly recommend trying smoking psilocybin extract if you are fortunate enough to encounter this material.

(Regarding novice trippers and smoked psilocybin extract: Yes, it was 'friendlier' than eating 'shrooms. However, the effects were magical in a very earthy, metallic, foresty way (which can be difficult for some people to deal with) and quite overwhelming. When I tried to stop letting people look like they were mushrooms wearing human costumes, those individuals seemed to stare at me and send me rather pissed-off energy. As soon as I relaxed, they were lovely mushrooms wearing utterly beautiful costumes as part of this gorgeous, spiritually fulfilling pageant. Definitely where I wanted to be... I'm very curious now about where such a trip would take all of you... :)
