While I have been on a dose of lyrica now for a TBI [traumatic brain injury] I have come to find its much in larger doses much like any drug that makes me feel good. I am prescribed 2/300mg capsules am then 2 more at pm giving me a total dose of 1200mg a day. My bottle comes with 120 capsules. After W/d for 2-3 weeks off of it I get my refill, because my bottle is empty so fast. Usually I start with 6 caps per dose so the first day its 6 am 6pm. For some reason the next day in order to achieve the warm open hearted feeling I'd get I have to increase each dose by 2. So that takes me to 8 am 8 pm. Then when I hit 10, am 10, pm I am taking a 2-4 capsule dose in between because I dont feel well.

It has caused tremors, seizures, and a dystonic reaction so far. I have also had way too much creatine. In my blood blocking up my kidneys. The drug to me is so addictive at these doses benzos rarely help me. It takes 3 xanax bars to even help me sleep. I cannot function for about a week from the w/d. I beg family friends please help me get some xanax. Finally when the first weeks over it isn't so bad.

First time Lyrica was very spiritual and closed eye visual too me. I'd go outside and just stare at the sky and talk for hours with my girl about spirituality. Now lyrica has become my own tomb. I sit and watch the calander days go by till my next refill, and I always most certainly fill 3 days early. The doses I take now barely even make me happy.... Its a tricky drug.
