DOSE:
20 mg oral 2C-B (capsule)
BODY WEIGHT: 180 lb
I have depression and bipolar disorder (my symptoms are very mild compared to most bipolar sufferers and so I was diagnosed as not Type I or Type II but 'not otherwise specified'). This was my first experience and occured when I attended Burning Man in 2015. I was with friends I trusted and felt safe and cared for - my friends additionally were very knowledgeable about the effects / reactions to hallucinogens. I took 20mg of 2C-B in a capsule that others had taken with no adverse reaction.

That night I had a 'typical' experience of 2C-B where I slowly had increasing interest in color / observed color intensity. I noticed the 'amount' of red/green/blue within LEDs. I would describe it as how color had 'texture' which seemed to be related to how light was made up of multiple colors. This awareness increased over a period of two hours, stabilized for two hours, and then decreased over two hours. I was extremely fascinated with all of the sights of Burning Man and really appreciated the scenery and everyone around me. I felt really loved and at peace with the world and everyone around me. I did lose some abilities to put my words into sentences about three hours after ingesting the 2C-B but that 'incoherence' passed relatively quickly.

The unusual part was that three days later, I woke up and noticed neon colors a bit more than usual.
The unusual part was that three days later, I woke up and noticed neon colors a bit more than usual.
Over a period of about three hours the intensity of neon light 'sensitivity' greatly increased as well as a feeling of being 'detached' from everyone. I became paranoid without a specific reason of those around me. I then noticed that when I closed my eyes I saw dancing people who were backlit with neon lights in monochrome. I thought I may have been dehydrated or in need of food but drinking copious amounts of water did not improve my experience. This sensitivity to colors continued for a total of twelve hours and began to scare me that my health was at risk (despite having others/friends calm me down). I then went to a tent dedicated to psychedelic health (Zendo tent) and had trained health officials and helpers calm my fears and allow me to experience the intense 'connectedness' I felt and sensitivity / fears I experienced. After an additional twelve hours with the tent I felt improved and returned to my friends for the rest of the festival. I continued to have the sensitivities / fears for an additional twelve hours but I was able to address them myself and examine how I felt introspectively.

For the next two weeks I would have flashbacks that lasted about 20 minutes in which I would see color / lights (such as 'spot lights' on the ground or glowing pieces of paper) or notice colors in great detail. These would happen about once every three days and generally didn't cause a problem for myself. I went to a doctor 15 days after taking the 2C-B and he thought that PERHAPS (as did the Zendo tent) that I have a liver that metabolizes psychedelics very slowly and/or the drug was stored in fat that was released over time or on account of fat being burned.
