I found out about marihuanilla by looking for a marijuana substitute. I spend a large amount of my time trying to find legal alternatives to traditional illegal drugs because for me access to those drugs is very infrequent and unreliable. Marihuanilla was a difficult substitute to convince myself to try, as there are very few trip reports on it, and it seems to be widely unknown. However, when I found a reputable vendor that was selling marihunilla for only $3 an ounce, I figured I didn't have much to loose by buying some and trying it.
The day that I got the marihuanilla, I had a friend over who was also interested in trying it. The substance looked very similar to finely ground marijuana, but it smelled nothing like it. After packing a bowl and taking a hit, I noticed the smoke was also much different from marijuana, in that it was much less harsh, and had no discernible taste. After the first hit I felt fairly lightheaded, and also felt a pleasant relaxation throughout my entire body. My friend and I proceed to pass the pipe back and forth until we both had smoked roughly three bowls.
After the three bowls the marihuanilla had taken effect beyond any possibility of the effects being a placebo. The body high was very similar to weed, as was the relaxed state the marihuanilla put me in. However, it did not give the traditional giggly feelings associated with weed, and it most certainly did not make me high like weed. It did do a very good job of relaxing me, and as a person prone to anxiety I found that very pleasant. It also made me fairly tired, which was strange, but not unpleasant.
Marihuanilla is very good for a nice relaxing evening. It wont get me high like weed, but it is definitely a very nice smokeable herb. I was surprised that it did anything at all considering I find that many legal alternatives do not work, but all in all I was very satisfied, and will continue to smoke more.
