There are several reasons I tried mugwort. Reason 1: I was staying away from buds to clean up for a child custody case and I read somewhere that mugwort produces a similar high. And 2 I read about the alleged 'vivid dreams' it gives as well. I've had all kinds of herbal smoke before. I am experienced in the realm of dope, sort of. I'll list what I've tried before: marijuana of various qualities, liquid lsd, gel tabs, shrooms, oxycodone, alcohol, street mdma, dxm, spice, salts, cocane, ecstacy, ayahuasca, peyote, plain caapi tea, and a few others.

On with the report. I procures 1 pound of dried mugwort. For 2 days prior, I ate nothing and flushed with water. Mentally I did not prepare. This isnt possible for me to do.

Setting: really my entire house.

I first got my deep bowl corn cob pipe and stuffed it with mugwort. Probably 3 or 4 gram fit. Power puffed like theres no tomorrow. The taste was not unlike smoking hair and the odor while it burned was very much like burning straw. After 4 more bowls I kinda felt like I was getting a buzz so I went full throttle. Got out my churchwarden pipe and kept a steady burn going for a few hours. Smoked half the bag. The buzz was just wishful thinking. After a few hours I made tea with the mugwort. Steeped about 7 grams in 2 cups of boiled water. Tasted like crap. I gave up and went to bed thinking 'ok no buzz but what about thise dreams'....

That night I had this dream. I woke up the next morning and laughed. This dream wasnt caused by mugwort. Its the same dream I have every time I go to sleep.

In conclusion mugwort had no effect whatsoever.
