Bits & Pieces
by Erowid

The "Bits & Pieces" section is intended for random snippets of information which don't fit
easily elsewhere and/or which have been newly added, but not yet carefully categorized.

  • AMT Smell
AMT has a strong and distinct smell that shares similarities with other chemical tryptamines such as DMT. The smell seems to cling to other objects, and storage materials often have the "tryptamine tang" for years after the material is gone. The smell is something like "slightly rotten partially burned biodegradable plastic smell".
