What's in a tablet marked with "HR" and scored into quarters?
Q: I have searched everywhere trying to identify small white tablets, scored twice (to be cut into forths), with no numberical imprint, just drug company symbols that look similar to a cursive HR, or perhaps HRx. Can someone please identify these for me?

A: Without a clear unique imprint, it's difficult to be sure, but small tablets scored into quarter marked with an HR sound like an ephedrine tablet. According to the Drug Identification Bible, it is likely to contain 25 mg ephedrine and may also contain 100 mg guaifenesin.

Hope this helps.
