Where can I look up pill markings?
Q: Recently there was a question asking what was in a pill numbered XX XXX. Is there anywhere online where the contents of a pill can be found just by the number printed on it? In particular, I am interested in a pill marked 50 888. Any help would be appreciated.

A: The easiest method is to search by pill markings (imprint codes) at rxlist.com.

There are also several books available which list imprint codes and show photos of prescription pills. Unfortunately, I checked both of these sources and was unable to find any information about a pill labelled "50 888"
