Abstract
Research studies over the past six years investigating the usefulness of psychedelic (LSD) psychotherapy have been conducted in a number of areas covering (1) alcoholic patients, (2) patients with a terminal malignancy, (3) the chronically ill psychoneurotics, and (4) character disorders, with particular attention focused on the narcotic abuser. Specific data indicating our findings to date, and forecasting hopeful future developments in our expanding clinical investigations, will be presented.
