“Influence of organic phosphates on tuberculin sensitivity in B.C.G. infected guinea pigs: relation to cortisone desensitization”.
Lancet. 1952;262:950.
Abstract
Using the response to intrademal tuberculin as a measure of allergic hypersensitivity in albino guinea pigs infected with B.C.G., it was found that a single s.c. injection of very small quantities of glucose-l-phosphate (0.01 mg/kg) or LSD-25 (0.00018 mg/kg) diminished the sensitivity to tuberculin.
