Abstract
The authors observed after 20-50 meg. LSD euphoria with compulsive laughter, depression, mental disorders and even slight states of confusion. In some cases, there were visual illusions, hallucinations resembling those caused by mescaline, disorders of cenaesthesia and posture sense. The authors find a [superficial] similarity between the effects of LSD and the psychic symptoms observed in epidemics of ergotism.
