Emmanuel's Tips
To assure the best possible results using psychoactives, some basic rules apply. The rules I recommend are for those who wish to explore their spiritual nature by opening the doors of perception. For those who use them at raves and group parties, I can only suggest some basics.

For Party / Rave / Recreational Use:
  1. Know your supplier, be sure what he is giving you and how much.
  2. Be with trusted friends who will take care of you and take you home.
  3. Have a designated driver who is not under the influence.
  4. Make sure you have plenty of water available before you start.
  5. Don't try anything you haven't tried first at home.

For Spiritual / Introspective / Sacred Use:
  1. Know your supplier, be sure of you're getting you and how much. Ask questions.
  2. Select the safest, most comfortable place you know. Usually your home.
  3. If you are experienced, alone is great with the least distractions.
  4. If you are not experienced, have an experienced guide to assist you.
  5. Do not eat for at least 6 hrs. You want an empty stomach.
  6. Morning is best, you are rested, your mind is not yet churning with the days distractions. You are not as tired and sleepy as you would be in the evening.
  7. Try to be in a quiet meditative state, open to whatever comes to you.
  8. Create a comfortable nest (pillows, blankets, pads etc.) on the floor.
  9. Unplug phone, put a 'do not disturb' sign on door, have bottled water to drink, select music (very important) new age or classical. Even if you are a rock fan, try the slow dreamy new age or classical, no vocals. You may be very surprised.
  10. Plan plenty of quiet time to integrate all that you experienced.

Pleasant Journey,
Emmanuel
