So let me start by saying that this is a recollection of my second and third experiences with a drug that I had previously thought to be acid before learning that it was actually 'fake acid', AKA some sort of NBOME though I don't know for sure what kind. I cannot tell you what exactly my dosage was, since I don't know how much was on these tabs. I was told its very potent, 'triple-dipped' as my friend explained to me. I don't have much experience with psychedelics (having only done shrooms and this 'same' drug once before with no effects due to taking SSRI's, and experimenting with DXM a bit) and so I'm not sure what that means but I can tell you that these were definitely indeed quite potent tabs.

Now, I am aware that in large doses, NBOME's can be fatal and so I didn't go ahead and drop all 4 tabs at once. In fact, I had only bought 2 originally, intending on only doing one since I was told this stuff was very potent. The following is the story of my first actual experience with this drug giving me any effects.

All times are approximate since I've noticed that the main effect I get with psychedelics is time distortion. Also, this is written afterwards and so obviously some things were probably forgotten but I've tried to recall and explain the events as best as I can.

1:30 AM - my friends (we'll call them T, TS, and M) arrive back from town just over an hour away where they were going to pick up the 'acid'. I'll just call it that, in quotation marks, since it's faster than typing out NBOME. They tell me that they already dropped theirs on the way back and are starting to come up now. T is a very heavy drug user and has been for a long time, has lots and lots of experience with psychedelics and this specific drug and so, he dropped 3 right out the bat. TS has lots of psychedelic experience too but a low drug tolerance and so, dropped only 1. M has experience with heavier drugs and other psychedelics but has never tried this stuff and so also just dropped 1. Upon returning home, M gave me my two tabs and both M and T dropped another one, putting them to 2 and 4, TS choosing to do only half of another. I dropped my one, not wanting to take too much since I didn't know what it would feel like. I know it isn't real acid simply because the taste was bitter and chemical and numbed my lips and tongue a bit for about half an hour, which I'm told doesn't happen with real acid. I held it under my tongue until the paper dissolved and waited for the effects.

2:45 AM - the only effect so far was nausea. I had a couple bong rips to take the feeling away and it worked but I just felt as though I'd had weed and nothing else. My friends were surprised that I wasn't feeling anything since they all were. T was tripping pretty hard but said, 'I'll drop another if you drop your second one' to which I agreed since I wanted some sort of effects. I dropped my second one and T dropped his fifth and last for the night. Yeah, I know it's a crazy amount but this guy has literally done enough drugs to kill an elephant and he's still here so I wasn't considered. He described his visuals as being 3D geometric 'layers' over his vision that, if he just let himself get lost in, became a world he could walk through, and said that if I was seeing what he was seeing, I'd freak. But he was able to talk and understand what he was, could understand what we were saying and had not experienced any sort of ego-loss so I knew he was fine.

4:00 AM - still no effects at this point. T and M were extremely surprised that I wasn't feeling anything and so, they offered me another two tabs for free under the condition that I do them both at the same time, since T speculated that maybe I wasn't feeling anything because I kept re-dosing but still only doing one at a time. So I dropped both at the same time, putting me to a grand total of 4 which shocks everybody that I relay this story to considering T was experiencing crazy level 5 visuals with only one more tab than I had had and this was technically my first experience with the drug since the last experience gave no effects whatsoever. However, I do seem to simply need more than most people to get effects from most drugs, so I wasn't too surprised.

I took 4 grams of shrooms my first time (I know they were good, too, because six different people that have done shrooms quite a bit testified to being completely fucked on 2 grams) with very little effects and .4 of molly my first time with just a general feeling of energy and excitement for a few hours. I'm not sure why I need more than most people, especially considering I'm only 5'1 and barely 110lbs, but ah well.

5:30 AM - I felt very giddy and like I had lots of pent-up energy, specifically feeling the almost constant urge to smile and laugh. My friends would start giggling about nothing and I'd join in. By now I began to get visual effects that started off very light but quickly became all-encompassing. My vision was normal but every object had dark afterimages, bright but also like a very dark blue/black somehow. It was like the dark spots that you get after looking at the sun but it formed an aura around things. Little tracers that looked like lightning out of the side of my vision but disappeared if I looked at them. If I looked at a face in my peripheral vision, the place where the eyes and mouth were were shadowed and dark but returned to normal once I looked directly at them.

6:00 AM - at this point, my sense of surroundings became distorted. Touching things felt slightly different and I had this feeling that I get off of any type of drug, even sometimes very mildly off very strong weed. All I can explain it as is that it feels like when I'm playing a first-person video game. I didn't feel disconnected from myself, I knew where I was and who I was, but I felt like I was watching somebody's first-person-view of their house from a GoPro or something. Very cool effect, by far my favourite effect I get from drugs. It's just so strange and surreal and makes your own home seem like a completely different place even though everything's the same.

My vision also seemed to sort of 'skip' frames almost. I remembered standing up off the couch, saying I was going to go lay down in bed, and then the next thing I remember I was in the hallway, and then in bed. Once I was in bed, it really took hold.

There's a period of time from around 6:30 or whenever it was that I went to go lay down and around 8 that I was in a strange state I can only describe as being awake but asleep at the same time. I remember tossing and turning a few times, feeling like I constantly needed to stretch and feeling slightly claustrophobic under my blankets. Stretching felt absolutely amazing, all my muscles just felt tight. For that period of around an hour or so, I was completely disconnected from my body. It sounds scary, but it wasn't. It was actually a rather pleasant experience and I was still able to move if I really tried to. CEV's were basically just swirling lines and funky designs spinning around slowly. If I really focused on them, they almost began to feel like a separate reality.

I don't remember thinking, hearing, feeling, etc. anything at this time. It feels like I was asleep, but I know I wasn't. The closest thing I can describe it to is probably that of astral projection - my body was asleep but my mind was awake and I felt out of my body and in a different world but only for a short period of time.

After that hour, all effects were gone and I'd sobered up again. I had a slight headache and hadn't slept but felt very mentally rested, whereas my body felt sluggish and tired for the rest of the day and that was about it. A little disappointed about the shortness of the trip but hey, it was fun while it lasted.

My next experience was three days later and was by far a much better experience. Still short, lasting only a total of about 3 hours, but still fun. This time, I dropped a tab and a half at a time, making sure to do it before I'd smoked so I made sure I'd really notice any effects. Anyway, first effect was nausea. This time it was so bad that about an hour into it, as I was coming up, I actually puked. I felt much better afterwards and the first thing I noticed as soon as I stood up was that my body felt completely weightless. I'd barely pushed off the ground and I bounced up immediately. This made me giggle and now that headspace was really coming on, making me feel like I was playing a first person game again. This time, I actually got some cool visual effects. Wooden patterns on doors swam up and down the door slowly, the corners of my room seemed rounded, I picked out patterns in my carpet like swirly lines, a cat, and a few numbers that I'd never be able to point out while sober. The coolest effect was trails, which people say is the most common effect but one I never experienced until then. I moved my hand back and forth and it left a slight, quick trail behind it. All in all, it was fun for about 3 hours and then I came down very quick. I dropped the tabs at 10 AM and all effects were gone by about 3.

T, TS and M were all tripping for a good six hours compared to my record of 3.
