DOSE:
16 tablets oral DXM (pill / tablet)
oral Chlorpheniramine Maleate (pill / tablet)
BODY WEIGHT: 175 lb
We were at a dinner party when my 15 year old daughter called our cell phone crying and telling us an ambulance is here and her 17 year old brother had taken some pills. Then an officer got on the phone telling me my son & 2 other boys had taken 16 pills (each), asking me if i knew why he would do that, was he depressed lately? He said an ambulance was taking my son to the hospital where they had already taken the other two. We left the dinner party immediately, racing home to pull down the street to see emergency vehicles all around our house. My son was already in the ambulance and it pulled away as we got there.

Every neighbor was outside wondering what was happening. After searching my sons bedroom the officer explained what they had found in his room and that they had each taken 16 of these cold tablets (coricedin), and suggested that it may have been some kind of suicide pact. We left our house and drove to the hospital, on the way there my daughter explaining to us how her brother was responding to her after he had taken the pills, eyes big and red staring straight out, eyeballs bounceing back & forth like bb's he could not respond to her questions, she was very freaked out. You want to talk about someone being on some kind of trip, my daughter was on the worst encounter of her life, in fear for her brother's life.

When we got to the hospital this was the first time I saw my son, he was hooked up to everything and just as my daughter had described him, it was bad (very frightening) we would ask him questions, he thought he was dying and at this time we were not even sure. The pills had dehydrated him and his heart was beating uncontrollably. After a couple hours we would understand that he had taken the pills because he had heard & read about 'dexing' and that you could take sixteen of these pills and halucinate. This experiment has devastated our family and could have been worse. I believe in the free exchange of information but 'Dexing' is not a trip worth taking.
