Nice but Couldn't Do It Everyday
Oxymorphone
Citation:   pillperson. "Nice but Couldn't Do It Everyday: An Experience with Oxymorphone (exp82967)". Erowid.org. Oct 11, 2013. erowid.org/exp/82967

DOSE:
40 mg insufflated Pharms - Oxymorphone (ground / crushed)
BODY WEIGHT: 150 lb
I've been taking various opioids daily for several years now, my usual regimen being 80mg of Norco taken orally per day. I occasionally get my hands on something different and this time it was Opana.

I paid $220 for 5 40mg (ER) pills. The person I got them from told me that they were oxycontin and morphine combined. I don't really care for morphine, I was more interested in the oxycontin part - but still I thought it was a strange combination. After going online and reading about the drug, I found that they were incorrect. The drug was called Oxymorphone, and I'm guessing the person simply thought that it was a compound word for the aforementioned combination. I found that the coating was nearly impossible to remove without scraping away the actual drug underneath, so I just crushed the whole thing and tried my best to pick out the flat pieces of coating.

I snorted half of the pill, 10mg into each nostril. I felt the effect in less than a minute, and it seemed to peak after about 10 minutes. It was an energizing, good feeling that made me feel like getting some things done around the house. After a few hours, I snorted the rest of the pill. I ended up hardly getting any sleep that night. I played video games for hours and found my skills were greatly sharpened, which usually happens to me from opioids.

After about 6 hours from the last dose, I became exhausted and tried to sleep but found it very difficult. As soon as I neared the state of sleep, I found myself gasping for air and sitting upright. One time when I did this, I opened my eyes to see a terrifying hallucination in at the foot of my bed – it was a strange alien-zombie creature with arms reaching towards me. The hallucination was quite vivid and made my heart jump out of my chest, but it was gone and soon as I blinked a couple times. I finally did go to sleep and accidentally slept until the afternoon. I awoke full of energy but ended up vomiting a few times. After the nausea subsided I crunched up another pill, this time doing only a fourth instead of half. I did the other three fourths in 2.5 hour intervals for the rest of the day, and found that to be more pleasant. I used the rest of the pills in this dosage schedule for the rest of the week.

I never once touched any of my other pills for the whole week because the Opana satisfied me completely. It’s been a couple of days since my very last pill, and I’m feeling kinda strung out and sickly. I enjoyed the effects of Opana but I can’t see myself taking it daily like I do with my Norcos. I think it would cause me to deteriorate mentally and physically in a relatively short period of time. This is strong stuff.
