He is the owner of Starborne Productions/Soundsystems and co-producer of the Oracle Gatherings, Decibel Festival, and the electronic stage at Seattle's world famous Hempfest. Michael's event productions always bring together a wide spectrum of artistic influences: static, musical, visual, live, experimental, and theatrical. As a DJ, Michael has led multitudes across the West Coast through their dance journeys: from San Francisco out to Hawaii, through Ashland and Portland, and up to Vancouver, B.C. With an ear for eclectic composition, he crosses genre boundaries by weaving together a confluence of musical styles with funky, tribal, and dubby influences at the roots.
