My work is an investigation into bridging the gap between science and spirituality. The work is done in a mixed media format and is hybrid-art. Acrylic painting techniques and computer-generated images are utilized to record a response of a worldview. He uses the computer to represent man’s advancement in time and the roll of science/technology in our every day reality. Note the computer lends a dislocated or absent touch of the human mark (hand/spirit) to the work. Acrylic paint is then hand painted onto the computer print, thus adding the human touch which gives the work a transfer of human intention and touch. The icons used in the work support the investigation of science and spirituality.
