1957
PCP tested for the first time on 64 human subjects. Worrying side effects such as hallucinations, mania, delirium and disorientation manifested.   

The study was published in 1958 by FE Greifenstein as "A study of a l-dryl cycle hexyl amine for anesthesia", Anesth Analg 37(5): 283-294.
