Jan 16, 1986 9:25 am Alexander Shulgin is the first human to ingest 2C-T-7, at 2mg oral. 1  
1991 Alexander and Ann Shulgin publish PiHKAL, documenting over 250 phenethylamines, including MDMA, mescaline, 2C-B, 2C-T-7, 2C-T-2, and many others. 2  
1993 Myron Stolaroff & Charles Wells publish a paper summarizing experiments into the therapeutic potential of 2C-T-7 & 2C-T-2 compared to MDMA. 3  
Mid 1990's 2C-T-7 and 2C-T-2 are available in very small niche underground groups and therapy circles, not widely available through any commercial vendors. 4  
Nov 1997 White pills, containing 2C-T-2, are erroneously sold as 2C-T-7 in 'smart shops' in the Netherlands. 5   [More Info]
Oct 1999 De Sjamaan begins selling 2C-T-7 tablets in the Netherlands under the trade name "Blue Mystic".    [More Info]
2000 2C-T-7 use spreads from an obscure chemical to use at parties & clubs around the US and Northern Europe. There is widespread discussion on web forums after it becomes available through a variety of grey-market commercial vendors.   
Feb 2000 2C-T-7 becomes widely available in the United States through a variety of grey-market commercial vendors.   
Oct 15, 2000 First death associated with 2C-T-7 occurred in Norman, Oklahoma, reportedly 35mg insufflated.    [More Info]
Feb 2001 Blue Mystic (pressed 2C-T-7 in pills) released to Dutch smartshop market by de sjamaan.

May 2001 Sjaaman of the netherlands stops selling Blue Mystic pills.   
Jan 2002 Rolling Stone publishes article about 2C-T-7 related deaths with the lurid title "The New (legal) Killer Drug" and includes a blurb on JLF as a retail supplier of the chemical.   
Jul 18, 2002 The DEA formally declares its intent to place 2C-T-7 in Schedule I by emergency ruling. They may complete the process after a 30 day waiting period. 6

Sep 20, 2002 2C-T-7 is placed in Schedule I in the United States by emergency ruling of the DEA. Its placement in Schedule I makes it illegal to buy, sell, or possess without a DEA license. This temporary scheduling may last up to 18 months during which time the DEA is likely to permanently schedule the substance. 7
