Q: Once again your vast knowledge is needed to put a question to rest in my mind; There have been many posts on the web concerning the \\\% of DMT in mimosa hostilis rootbark (from .57\\\\% to one 1\\\\%). And as for any other alkaloids present in the rootbark, I haven't any information on them.

To your knowledge what \\\\%DMT is in the rootbark of mimosa hostilis and what other alkaloids may also be present with them?

A: As with the alkaloid content of any plant, the percentages are going to vary greatly from one plant to another. Our resources cite numbers ranging from .31\\% - .57\\\%. There is one reference to 1\\\% DMT content in Trout's Notes which simply states that there is a persistent counter-culture rumor that 1\\\% DMT can be found from some sources, but no reference or verification has been found for the rumor.

Hope this helps
Sage
