DESCRIPTION #
Sertraline is an SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) which changes the body's regulation of serotonin by blocking the reuptake of serotonin into 5HT neurons. As with other SSRI's, Zoloft can take several weeks before it produces the desired effects.
